Make your own Italian dish

MARGHERITA PIZZA

1 PIZZA

  • Basic pizza dough (can be used for all pizzas)

INGREDIENTS FOR MARGHERITA TOPPING:

  • 5 tablespoons tomato purée
  • 57 gr fresh mozzarella
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 1 pinch of oregano
  • ½ tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

DIRECTIONS:

Roll out the pizza with your hands, or with the help of a rolling pin, until the dough is thin. If you are using a baking pan to bake the pizza, you need to grease it with a little oil before adding the dough. Season the pizza with the tomato sauce and then add the crumbled mozzarella and oregano. Bake at 500ºF for 7-10 minutes until the crust becomes golden brown. Once pulled out of the oven, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and top with fresh basil.
